At Verodrive, the high standard of knowledge and tried and tested teaching methods are what set us apart from similar driving schools.
Director Martin Evans developed his teaching technique after first passing the IAM course in 2002. Martin then underwent further training to become a qualified IAM Observer and then Senior Observer, training the driving instructors themselves.
“I always took pride in my driving, but like many people, I knew I could be better and the initial IAM course raised my awareness and skill. Most people are reasonable drivers… but everyone can be better and often a few hours spent with a professional advanced driving instructor can make a huge difference to skill, progress and confidence”.
Qualifying as a Driving Standards Agency: Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) also means Verodrive offer professional training to both individuals and fleet drivers.
“I believe in putting people at their ease and encouraging self-criticism when driving. Being ever-willing to learn is an important mind-set for any driver – and that includes me”.
Verodrive is based in Bristol, but works with clients across the South and South West of the UK.
- Trustee of Bristol Advanced Motorists Charity (part of the IAM)
- Martin is one of just a few hundred drivers in the UK to have passed the demanding IAM ‘Masters’ test with ‘distinction’.
